What is toxic mold?

Toxic mold is mold that can cause property damage and adverse physical and psychological effects. Due to the small size of mold, mold can penetrate the same small areas as dust particles. Initially, you may not even notice the mold growth. You might only notice a musty smell or begin to notice health symptoms – such as new or worsening asthma, pneumonia, rashes, or other problems.

Why do you need an environmental report?

Seeing black, green, or red dots growing on your walls, carpet, or furniture is disconcerting. There are hundreds of different types of mold. Some are toxic and can make you very sick. Some are toxic above certain levels but are perfectly safe below certain levels.

The environmental report will provide us with all of the details regarding what types of mold or other toxins are in your home as well as estimated counts as to how much mold is there as well. This report is vital to your case and we cannot move forward without this document.

What documents will you need to provide?

In order to create the most compelling case, we will want you to provide an environmental report or code enforcement report, and additional details regarding your damaged personal property and medical records.

How long will your case take?

Each case varies in the amount of time it takes to reach a settlement. Our team is trained to gather all important information and process your case as quickly as possible. Prompt responses to our requests for documents help your case move more quickly through the process.
